Intel Extreme Masters returns to gamescom
The seventh season of the Intel Extreme Mastes will continue its tradition and kick-off at gamescom once again. Between 15th and 19th of August, Cologne will be the center of the eSports circuit when the world's best gamers fight for the first title of the season.
This season players and teams from around the globe will compete in StarCraft II and League of Legends, the official main titles for the 2012/13 season.

Season start at gamescom

Gamescom, taking place in Cologne between August 15th and 19th, will feature the Intel Extreme Masters in form of a StarCraft II tournament with the world's best gamers clashing in a battle for the first trophy of the season. The two finalists will receive a slot in the World Championship - the grand final of every of the league's seasons.

The World Championship

The season will once again conclude at CeBIT in Hanover (March 5th - 9th, 2013), where the best 24 StarCraft 2 players and 12 League of Legends teams will meet in the World Championship, fighting for the Intel Extreme Masters trophy. Last year's World Championship was a highlight for both live spectators and stream viewers - and we're doing everything to make it even better.
