The League of Legends groups for the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship have been drawn. In Group A the final of Katowice will take place again when Gambit Gaming faces CJ Entus Blaze. Meanwhile Evil Geniuses will take on Korean powerhouses SK Telecom T1 and CJ Entus Frost in Group B. The total prize pool for League of Legends in Hanover will be $150,000.
A little bit more than two weeks remain until the 12 best teams of the 2012-13 season of the Intel Extreme Masters will meet at the World Championship. From the 5th - 9th of March they will meet at CeBIT in Hanover to determine the new World Champion.

The Groups have been drawn

Reigning champion Gambit Gaming from Russia have been seeded into Group A and will face, among others, their Riot Season 3 opponents Fnatic as well as Korean top teams CJ Entus Blaze and Intel Extreme Masters Brazil winner Incredible Miracle.

In Group B two other Season 3 participants, SK Gaming and Evil Geniuses, go against Polish teams MeetYourMakers and Anexis as well as Koreans SK Telecom T1, who won Intel Extreme Masters Cologne, and CJ Entus Frost.

In case any of the qualified teams are not able to participate, their spots will be filled according to the ranking.

They will be replaced with the next team in the ranking that has not received a spot in the World Championship. In case of teams or players directly qualified through being the best of their region, the next best team from that region that is not yet qualified will receive their spot.

Brazilian team doesn't stand a chance against the other teams. Actually, it only got a spot because another team gave up going to IEM World Championship.
Gonna be an epic life event, hope for a big crowd and lots of immersion. ;)
