The StarCraft II tournament featured some of the biggest names in the world. From Korea MC, MVP and NesTea had flown in to fight through the open bracket and then conquer the main tournament.

In the end it was MVP who made it happen with a 3:1 win over Polish Zerg Nerchio, who showed a great performance throughout the tournament. Nerchio went on to win the SICK NERD BALLER title at gamescom.

Before the start of the League of Legends EU Regions, hosted by Intel Extreme Masters, many would have taken Moscow Five and CLG.eu as the favorites. The Russians lived up to the expectation by making their way into the final in the aggressive fashion they are known for. For CLG.eu the dream of reaching the final was stopped by SK who, lead by Ocelote, made their way into the final.

There Moscow Five proved to be too strong, taking SK down in an extremely dominating fashion with 2:0. CLG.eu still secured their spot at the 2 Million Dollar Global Finals by taking the third place over Fnatic.
