Earlier this day we reported that Uzbek Pincho Wings can not take part in the Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge in Chengdu. Now we proudly present replacement which joins mousesports and wNv.cn in group D. Team CD from China is the replacement and will compete for $40,000 and the Global Finals spot.

Two weeks left until the Counter-Strike American Championship kicks off. All four qualifiers have been played and twelve teams from USA and Canada have qualified for the American Championship. Another four teams will join them from the CS Invite Division Season II to complete the American Championship.

Team Pincho Wings from Uzbekistan will not attend the Global Challenge Chengdu starting tomorrow. One of their players didn't get his visa. Therefore he couldn't leave his country and his team isn't able to participate in the tournament. We are working on finding a suitable substitute for group D and will announce it as soon as possible.

The Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge Dubai will feature the first ever QuakeLive LAN event held outside of Dallas, Texas. From October 17th until 19th up to twelve participants will compete in the second Quake Live offline tournament of the Intel Extreme Masters. 6,500 US-Dollars are up for the grabs and you can apply for an invitation.

For the Counter-Strike Global Challenge in Dubai, a total of $25,000 will be rewarded to the best teams. The Counter-Strike tournament itself will take place from Tuesday 20th until Thursday 22nd of October.
