Both matches were originally played during last weekends 2nd pre-qualifier but had to be re-played after rule violations were reported. In the end the outcome stayed the same. SK Gaming and WinFakt won their matches and will play this upcoming Sunday, 11th of September, for a spot at the Global Challenge New York.

The first round matches will be:

The format will be single elimination and best of three. You can find the tournament tree and other information on the qualifier website. The top three teams will win a spot at the GC New York which will take place at the New York ComicCon from the 13-16th of October and compete for a total prize purse of $40,000.

ESL TV will show the entire qualifier from start to finish, starting at 13:00 this Sunday, with Joe Miller as your host and commentator.
