The second day of the World Championship is over. The group stage has been finished. All play-off contenders have been determined.

Update: There will be NO delay for day 2 of the World Championship in StarCraft II. Groups C and D will start as planned.

Intel Extreme Masters CeBIT 2012 Opening Day

The group stage for StarCraft II, League of Legends and Counter-Strike begins.

Due to the complaints of some players about the accommodation at the Intel Extreme Masters we would like to shed some light on the situation.

With the grand final of the sixth' Intel Extreme Masters season we'd like to present ESL TV's brand-new website. Separated from ESL's framework, our very own eSports station gets an independent and dedicated plattform with a fresh, polished look and modern features, which will highlight our eSports streams better than ever before.

Korean player Sound had to cancel his participation in the World Championship. Dutch WarCraft III legend will replace him in Group B.

Dutch player ret, who qualified in Sao Paulo, is sick and will not travel to the World Championship. Ukrainian White-Ra will replace him in Group B.

These gents will present the World Championship

Korean players DongRaeGu and FruitDealer had to cancel their participation in the World Championship and will be replaced by DarK.FoRcE and SeleCT.

The visa rejection for Chinese team World Elite could not be changed anymore and as such it is now official that French team aAa will replace them at CeBIT.

The Chinese team World Elite had their visa application rejected and is now on the verge of not coming to the CeBIT. French team aAa would be the replacement.
