Last night Europe and America entered Summoners Rift to determine their LoL representatives for the Global Challenge Guangzhou. Only one slot was available for the Americans. Hotshot's Counter Logic Gaming managed to qualify for the second Global Challenge in a row. Team SoloMid placed third after losing to Team Curse, but you will see them next week at Global Challenge Cologne. Europe will send SK Gaming and Millenium to China. Both teams will make their appearance at Cologne's gamescom next week as well.
If you are more interested in CS1.6 or SC2, you can follow today's EU final qualifiers for our second event in China. Eight CS1.6 teams will compete for three slots starting at 3pm CET. The second open qualifier in StarCraft II is about to start one hour before. ESL TV will cover the battle for two more slots. The winners of this qualifier will join dimaga and MaNa, who won last week's first qualifier.
