We are only a few weeks away from the Extreme Masters finals at CeBIT 2007 in Hannover, Germany and seven Counter-Strike teams have qualified for the event so far. Today goodgame and Pentagram will have to decide who will get the last spot.
Unfortunately, we have to announce the disqualification of 4Kings in the Extreme Masters by ESL. Due to maxed out penalties, it is our sad duty to disqualify the Counter-Strike team 4Kings from the Extreme Masters.
The groupstage is finished soon and the first participants for the playoffs on 15th March at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, are already announced. But the second and third of each group are not directly qualified. They have to play a relegation. The matches of this relegation will be drawn live on wednesday, 14th February, at GIGA.

After several months of Counter-Strike on the highest level we are nearing the end of the first season of the Extreme Masters. SK Gaming are already the third Counter-Strike team to qualify for the Extreme Masters finals which will be held from 15th to 18th of March 2007 at the world's biggest IT trade fair CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. SK Gaming managed to qualify for the finals at CeBIT last night without even playing.

From 15th to 18th of March 2007 the finals will take place at the world's biggest IT trade fair CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. Eight teams will get the chance to compete for the €40.000 grand prize.
