Today, Wednesday, is the second day of the Continental Finals Europe. Yesterday Counter-Strike was the main focus, today it's a lesser climax for the World of WarCraft fans out there. Nihilum, Mousesports, SK and many more are up to claim their spot for the Global Finals!
Do not miss the live action over at ESL TV. On the coverage page you find schedules, information, videos, results and much much more.
Group A
Group B
Advancing in the Continental Finals
In the usual manner the first placed team in each group advances to the playoffs, and following them are the two relegation winners, which takes place between the second and third placed teams.
To clearify, the second placed team in Group A will play third placed team in Group B and the other way around.
Advancing to the Global Finals
Exactly like in the Counter-Strike part of the Continental Finals Europe, there are
seven spots to claim for the Global Finals taking place at CeBIT right after.
The top three of each group will pass on right away, which means that all the teams that goes to the playoffs or relegation of the Continental Finals Europe will be seen again in the Global Finals. To settle the seventh team, there will be a relegation match between the two fourth placed teams, and the winner heads on as well, despite not going to the playoffs of the Continetal Finals.
