The Contintal Finals Americas are done and we have seen some hard matches for Americas' Global Finals spots for CeBIT in Hannover early next year. A big applause to the winners of this weekend: In both CS 1.6 and WoW three teams qualified and will go to CeBIT early next year. But with two more Continental Finals to go we have still a lot more to come!

It's interesting to see how much focus GStar puts on the business-side of games. There is a business center, that is almost as large as the public area. In addition to that there's a congress upstairs with speakers and presentations about the future of the gaming industry, mainly the Korean one.

All Global Challenges are finished and we are ready to determine the participants of the Global Finals. First of all the Asian World of Warcraft teams get their chance. Twelve teams compete for $30,000 and two of them will qualify for the Global Finals. The ESL is of course on spot to cover it for our readers.
