Yesterday we gave you an overview about all European Counter-Strike participants as well as the national qualification tournaments. Today we look after the the two remaining disciplines, StarCraft II and Quake Live. Most of the national tournaments are over, only a few spots are still vacant and will be filled in the next days.
Due to the fresh release of StarCraft II no ESL Pro Series season took place in any country. Therefore a total of 25 cups already took place or will finish this weekend. While 23 nations had the chance to find their respective number of participants according to the country ranking, there is an international qualifier for all other European countries. Furthermore a Last Chance Cup will provide an additional spot open for everyone.
European Championship Participants
While the German, British, Spanish, Belgian, Dutch and Greek duellers were determined by their recent ESL Pro Series season, all other nations were supposed to held a qualification tournament. For the international qualifier, only European players who do not have a national qualifier of any kind may sign up.
European Championship Participants
The fixtures of the first International Qualification Round will be announced soon. Stay tuned!
