This is going to be the toughest match of our group and we're looking forward to it. Sway's new lineup is looking like a mix so far, but it could be the most dangerous as we're not going to know what to expect. If we can take the win tonight, we have a great chance to place first in our group and we're looking forward to some close matches versus one of our Canadian rivals.
Post Match Statement
Unfortunately, we couldn't close out the match. Everything started well for us on nuke and we had several chances to win the match but we couldn't get the last round. Sway brought the map into overtime where the were able to steal the win from us. On train, things started well again and we again, struggled to close the match but managed to grab the last couple rounds. After these 2 maps, we started inferno. This match started off poorly for us as we lost a 4v1 on the pistol round. Sway picked up momentum and stormed their way to a 13-2 half. We tried to bring it back but unfortunately, we just didn't have it in us. Good game to Sway Gaming and good luck to them in their final match versus Kenna 5.
Being the WCG Canadian champs here, I would assume they are putting in a substantial amount of practice as WCG Chengdu nears. This should make this match quite challenging for us, however even with that in mind, I think it’s going to be a close match and we are looking to grab on to that top spot in our group.
Post Game Statement
We started off kinda slow on first half nuke but we got ourselves together to force nuke into overtime where we took the win. We went to train which we thought would be our strong map but Damage Inc. proved us wrong and took the win pretty convincingly. The final map was inferno where we took a huge lead on terrorist side 13-2, after first half we took it kinda slow and just collected the final 3 rounds we needed. Good Games to Damage Inc and Good Luck in Chengdu as they represent Canada
