Here's what the participant lineup looks like at the moment.

Americas: 3 teams

Asia: 2 teams

Button Bashers (1st Continental Finals)

Europe: 7 teams (to be determined)

If you wonder why the Americas have 3 slots at the Global Finals. That's because of Global Challenge results, with the top two teams each gaining an additional slot for their continent. The exact distribution is as follows:

2 slots for Asia: 2 base slots
3 slots for Americas: 2 base slots, 1 by Gravitas Gaming - WoW (2nd Montreal)
7 slots for Europe: 2 base slots, 2 by Nihilum Plasma (1st Leipzig, 2nd Los Angeles), 2 by SK Gaming WOW PvP EU (2nd Leipzig, 1st Montreal), 1 by x6tence.wow (1st Los Angeles)

As you can see, there are still some Global Finals slots to be distributed. This is when the two remaining Continental Finals will take place:

Asia: January 16-18, Chengdu, China
Europe: February 13-15, Hamburg, Germany
