On 8th of February in the Tanzbrunnen, Cologne, Germany, the first Intel Friday Night Game of the second Intel Extreme Masters Season is held. The CS teams of mousesports and mTw.Denmark and the WC3 players Grubby and fire_de will play live on stage in front of you!

With each and every day, we come one step closer to the finale phase. A single loss or victory can determine whether to take part in the offline Finals. In the beginning of March, world's best players and teams meet at the CeBIT in Hannover. Which participants still have a chance to win $285,000 prize money, who already qualified, which underdog could surprise everyone and which clan disappointed most of their fans?

This weekend the second ESL Pro Series Finals in Denmark took place and the first one in Ukraine. An exciting and thrilling eSport spectacle in Counter-Strike, Warcraft 3 and FIFA 2008. The Danish teams compete for 30,500 DKK (approx. 4,000€). 100,000 Ukrainian Hryvnias (approx. 13,400€) lured the Ukrainian top teams and players.

The CeBIT will be the home of this years Intel® Extreme Masters Finals. As last year the best teams and players from the Main Round and the Global Challenge LA will be at the Intel booth to show their skills and represent eSports at the biggest trade show for the ICT sector worldwide. He will face Grubby again after knocking him out of the Intel Extreme Masters Finals I in the group stage. Sadly, we have to announce that the team formerly known as MeetYourMakers will no longer be able to participate in the Intel® Extreme Masters. Due to penalties incurred for not showing up for their match versus mTw.dk, the team has broken the limit of 10 minor penalties and has to leave the tournament.
