The Extreme Masters Finals are getting close and you still can win some prizes in our Steam Skin contest. The contest is open to anyone, but there are a few rules to follow when letting your creativity take control. Take your chance to win some nice prizes by giving your best and doint a nice skin for Extreme Masters.

We are only a few weeks away from the Extreme Masters finals at CeBIT 2007 in Hannover, Germany and seven Counter-Strike teams have qualified for the event so far. Today goodgame and Pentagram will have to decide who will get the last spot.

Unfortunately, we have to announce the disqualification of 4Kings in the Extreme Masters by ESL. Due to maxed out penalties, it is our sad duty to disqualify the Counter-Strike team 4Kings from the Extreme Masters.

The groupstage is finished soon and the first participants for the playoffs on 15th March at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, are already announced. But the second and third of each group are not directly qualified. They have to play a relegation. The matches of this relegation will be drawn live on wednesday, 14th February, at GIGA.

The Intel Friday Night Game in Paris was a great success. More than 250 visitors came to see this spectacular event in Paris. They witnessed three tight Warcraft 3 rounds between Grubby and ToD and an awesome Counter-Strike match. Furthermore the atmosphere was unbelievably good in Paris. You missed it? After several months of Counter-Strike on the highest level we are nearing the end of the first season of the Extreme Masters. With the big finals at CeBIT coming closer each day it is the perfect time to give an overview of the already qualified teams and what is next for the teams who are not quite there yet.

Today, the Extreme Masters by ESL will come to Moscow. It's the last offline event before we finish the season with the Finals at CeBIT.

SK Gaming are already the third Counter-Strike team to qualify for the Extreme Masters finals which will be held from 15th to 18th of March 2007 at the world's biggest IT trade fair CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. SK Gaming managed to qualify for the finals at CeBIT last night without even playing.

After Meet Your Makers we now also know the second team to compete at the finals of the first Extreme Masters season. From 15th to 18th of March 2007 the finals will take place at the world's biggest IT trade fair CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. Eight teams will get the chance to compete for the €40.000 grand prize.

We are very sad to announce that the Swedish team NiP have decided to leave the Extreme Masters because of their recent roster changes.

Yesterday we announced the first Counter-Strike team which qualified for the finals from 15th to 18th of March 2007 at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. Today we can announce the first two Warcraft 3 players who qualified for this huge event in Hannover: NightWOlf and Creolophus.
