Sadly, we have to announce that Satiini canceled his participation at the Intel Extreme Masters II Finals. Protois will replace him after his victory at the Intel Extreme Masters II - Warcraft 3 Follow-Up Tournament. Satiini is disqualified from the current Intel Extreme Masters Season and won't receive prize money. His prize money will be distributed among the other participants of his main round group. The decision about possible additional sanctions will be announced after the finals.

Sadly, we have to announce that the Norwegian team unsterblich will no longer be able to participate in the Intel® Extreme Masters II. Due to a penalty incurred for using a ringer in their match versus Gravitas Gaming, the team has broken the limit of two major penalties and has to leave the tournament.

Last weekend the first ESL Pro Series Finals took place in the capital of Bulgaria. The national elite of eSport met in the heart of Sofia. The famous Warcraft 3 player Diesel and the Counter-Strike team Man1a were among them. They compete for 5,000 Bulgarian Lev (over 2,500 Euro) - a long figure for an eSport event in land at the Black Sea.

Sadly, we have to announce that the French Warcraft 3 player Idris 'eLquA' Ambraisse will no longer be able to participate in the Intel® Extreme Masters. Due to penalties incurred for not showing up for his match versus KnOfF, he has obtained his second major penalty and has to leave the tournament.

Only three days left until the European eSports Elite meets in Cologne, Germany. On February 2nd, Grubby and fire_de will face off in Warcraft 3 and mTw.dk takes on mousesports in Counter-Strike. These exciting matches will not only be played live on stage and directly in front of you but afterwards can also meet the eSports Stars face to face at an official autograph session and take home your very own souvenir!
