On Thursday 30th November at 21:00 CET de_nuke will be the map where the Norwegian powerhouse Meet Your Makers will take on the Spanish team x6tence. Both teams are tied for first place in group B and this match could very well decide the eventual winner of the group.

On Monday 20th November at 21:00 CET the world renowned fnatic will go up against SK Germany on de_dust2 in a group C clash. This match has a clear favourite but that doesn't mean the outcome of the battle has been decided already. The map will ensure a lot of open and spectacular fights so do not miss this game.

A few days ago we announced the first Extreme Masters Event on YouTube. Today we can proudly present the video free for download in two different sizes, with improved sound and image. On the one hand you can download the video in DivX format and on the other hand you can download it in MPEG2 format. The MPEG2 format is DVD compatible. So you can watch scenes and emotions from the Intel Friday Night Game in Hamburg on your own TV.

For the first time in history an Intel Friday Night Game will take place in Scandinavia. On December 8th, Stockholm has the honour to welcome the most exciting eSports tour in the world: Extreme Masters Intel Friday Night Game in Stockholm with plenty of entertainment opportunities, live TV broadcast, a raffle with nice prizes and thrilling WC3 and CS matches for on-site spectators. International star players like fisker, ElakeDuck, DIDI8, vilden, hpx and zonic will be attending.

Both teams who are featured in this Match of the Week tied their first match in the Extreme Masters Season 1. Virtus.pro was the equal of goodgame while NiP tied mousesports. Because of these results the second playday will be crucial for the teams that tied as the winners will be able to create a gap with the others while the losers will only have 1 point out of a possible 6. The loser of the match between Virtus.pro and NiP will most likely need to adjust their goals and aim for the 2nd or 3rd..

The two participants of this third match of the week are Nightelf player Kim 'SaSe' Hammar and Undead player Michael 'Geil.Gia-ACT' Hladik.

Each playday in the Extreme Masters will feature two Matches of the Week. These matches will be highlighted with a preview right here on the Extreme Masters website. The Match of the Week will introduce you to both teams and their current state, we will also give a member of the team the chance to share their thoughts about the match with the fans and last but not least we have the celebrity predictions where the outcome of the match will be predicted by other Extreme Masters participants.

This week features yet another interesting match as we will see Yoan 'ToD' Merlo take on Lars Gerrit 'Protois' Reichelt. The Intel Friday Night Game in Hamburg set new standards for European events with its innovative one day - one match approach, the unique spectator experience and the flat-out congenial stage show.
