The big Kick-Off at Games Convention 2008

We are proud to announce that we will start the third Intel Extreme Masters season, which features an unbelievable prize purse of 750,000USD for its 3rd season, at the world's biggest computer gaming trade fare: the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. The Kick-Off will be the first Global Challenge from 22nd until 24th of August! 16 World of Warcraft teams will take part at this great live event. They will compete for 30,000USD prize money and 2 Global Final slot for their continent. Which continent will prove to be the best and send more teams to the Global Final?

Ambitious teams that want to compete on the highest level in WoW Arena may apply for a wildcard into the tournament by sending an email to leipzig.wow.gc@esl-world.net. The application needs to contain links to all player's Armory-profiles and your achievements as a WoW-team in both on- and offline-tournaments.

All teams will be playing in Leipzig on highest performing Intel Extreme Processors on Alienware Area-51® Systems from Dell's Gaming group. Get a closer look at the official tournament PC and the official tournament Laptop.
