I'm considering a move to L.A.
Los Angeles, City of Angels. Center of the entertainment world. For years the largest city of the United States has been bypassed by the eSports scene. Until now. The Intel® Extreme Masters Los Angeles is the most important tournament of the fall season, with all the top CS teams in attendance. We give you the full insight into what is going on in L.A. and what you can expect in the upcoming hours and days.
The week was off to a good start. When the ESL tournament task group first came to the L.A. Convention Center, a large part of the booth was already up and running. The setup crew only had to build up the network infrastructure in the tournament area, and install the software to the PCs. It took two days to set everything up properly and test it.

That left some spare time to explore the city. As it stands, Los Angeles is the perfect location for big eSports tournaments. The city is a melting pot of culture and cultures. All the entertainment industries and different nationalities form the distinct identity of this metropolis. What better place to start off the first inter-continental ESL championship in both Warcraft 3 and Counter-Strike?

L.A. Convention Center
Below the Hollywood sign, next to the world famous Staples Center, we hit it off big with the local qualifier on this Thursday. Aspiring US teams and players will try to get into the main event, and have a shot at facing off against stars like PGS Gaming or Lucifer. Among the WC3 challengers is US-Q4 champion Lost-Cauze, who's looking for a chunk of the $65.000 prize money in Los Angeles.

Who is gonna make it? Look out for the full-on coverage both at the Intel® Extreme Masters website, our L.A. microsite and all the scene websites out there.
