Polish Zerg Nerchio is the first player to qualify for the World Championship at CeBIT 2013 after his impressive victory at the HomeStory Cup V. He won the final with 4-1 over Korean YongHwa, losing only five maps in the entire tournament.
The HomeStory Cup V took place last week, from the 5-8th of July, and featured 32 players from America, Europe and Korea. Nerchio's story began when he qualified for the event by winning the first European qualifier in early June. After four days and nine matches his dream finished with a first place that earned him 10.000$ and a spot at the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship at CeBIT 2013.

The next tournament will be the Intel Extreme Masters Cologne at the gamescom from the 15th - 18th of August 2012. 24 players will come to Cologne, Germany and the top two will win their spots for the World Championship.
