The Global Challenge at Ani-Com & Games in Guangzhou will be the second event of the global league of the video game champions. Teams of Counter-Strike and League of Legends as well as StarCraft II players will clash in Guangzhou, China, from October 1st to 5th, for a total prize money of $93,000!
Ani-Com & Games hosts Asian Global Challenge
We love to announce officially that the next Global Challenge will take place at the Guangzhou Ani-Com & Games from October 1st to 5th during China's weeklong National Day of the People's Republic of China holiday. During these five days world class Counter-Strike 1.6 teams, League of Legends teams and StarCraft II players will compete for a total of $93,000 prize money.

It will be Counter-Strike's first appearance in season six of the Intel Extreme Masters. They will battle it out for the $40,000 prize money that is at stake, $21,000 are up for the grabs at the StarCraft II tournament. An appealing $32,000 in cash prizes will be available for the global League of Legends elite. Furthermore the winners and runner-ups of all three tournaments qualify for the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in 2012.
